In the wake of the mass shooting in Louisville on April 10, the
Kentucky Lantern has worked with the
Kentucky Psychological Association to create an event for people working in the news media to learn coping strategies, including how to get professional help when needed.
The Zoom event will be held at 12 noon ET May 11. It will be led by Dr. Eric Russ with the association and is titled, "Stress, Trauma and Coping for Journalists and People Working in the Media."
