"Trigg County’s new ambulance tax has already reaped benefits for the Trigg County Hospital" in Cadiz, Tonya S. Grace reports for the Kentucky New Era in Hopkinsville.
The hospital expects to get $800,000 a year from "an increase in property taxes of 10 cents per $100 and in the county’s service tax from 8 to 10 cents," Grace reports. The county Fiscal Court approved the taxes in August, at a meeting "that attracted a large crowd both in favor of and against the tax."
