The government has promised to disburse Tshs. 12 million in order to facilitate medical treatment for the premature children who are admitted in care of their mothers at Ileje district hospital, the parliament has been informed. The deputy minister for Health and Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, Dr Faustine Ndugulille confirmed this today in parliament when clarifying a point in relation to the government’s commitment towards paying special attention to the premature children in public hospitals in the country. The deputy minister was answering a question from Janeth Mbene- Ileje CCM legislator whom wanted to know the services does the government provide to such children in her constituency. In a general response, Dr. Ndugulile noted that, the government is very keen on this matter to ensure that all premature children admitted in government hospitals are given necessary attention it deserves.
