Malayalam actress Bhavana was allegedly kidnapped and molested on her way back home from a shoot on Friday night Feb 17,2017 in Ernakulam district of Kerala. She was released after an hour.
A person has been arrested in connection with the case.
As per reports, the incident took place around 10:30 pm when the accused obstructed Bhavana's car and abducted her. She was then allegedly molested and threatened with dire consequences inside the running car.
"For about one hour she was in the car with them and they kept driving and later around 10.30 pm she was dropped near the place where she lived," police sources said.
The gang allegedly took photos and videos of the actress as well.
Bhavana's former drivers Martin and Sunil are the prime suspects in the case. Martin has been arrested but Sunil is still at large.
Police have registered a case of kidnapping and molestation.
